John A. Accavallo is the managing partner of Michaud Accavallo Woodbridge & Cusano, LLC and has acquired knowledge in Governmental, Not-for-profit, Construction, Manufacturing and Professional Service Industries. John is a certified public accountant in the State of Connecticut with nearly 20 years of experience. Prior to becoming a partner at Michaud and Accavallo, CPAs, LLC, he was a manager with UHY Advisors, a national firm, which serviced entities ranging from $1 million dollars to $8 billion dollars.

John has assisted many governmental entities through financial reporting conversions such as the GASB 34 "New Reporting Model" and Not-for-Profit entities with FASB ASC 958 formerly SFAS No. 117 Financial Statements of Not-for-Profits.

He is a graduate from Sacred Heart University with a B.S. degree in Accounting. John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Connecticut State Society of Public Accountants, National Governmental Finance Officers' Association and Connecticut Governmental Finance Officers' Association.
Darin L. Offerdahl is a partner with Michaud, Accavallo Woodbridge & Cusano, LLC. Darin has over 20 years of experience providing audit, accounting and advisory services to governmental, non-profit and commercial organizations. Darin's experience with national, regional and local public accounting firms directing client relationships, engagements and audit teams and auditing the financial statements of a wide range of governmental, non-profit and commercial organizations highlights his professionalism and knowledge. Darin is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Connecticut.

Darin spent a number of years at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, a publicly traded biotech. As their Director of Financial Reporting and Compliance, Darin was brought on board to lead the financial reporting team, expand and formalize financial systems, develop an internal audit function and implement controls to support the company's rapid growth. Preceding Alexion, Darin spent several years with Acme logoUnited, a publicly traded manufacturer and distributor of office supplies, as their Accounting Director.

Darin earned his Bachelor of Science from Southern Connecticut State University and Master of Business Administration, Finance and Accounting from Regis University School of Management, graduating with honors.

Darin is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Government Finance Officers Association of Connecticut (GFOA). Darin is currently a director and/or the treasurer of The Multicultural Leadership Institute, Inc., Adelbrook (Children's Home), and Children in Placement, all of which are non-profit organizations. . Darin is a member of and actively participating in the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountant's Not-For-Profit Organization Committee.
Kerry Emerson, Principal
Kerry L. Emerson is a tax and accounting manager with Michaud Accavallo Woodbridge & Cusano, LLC. Kerry has over 20 years of experience providing accounting, tax, advisory services and estate planning to organizations and individuals across Connecticut. Kerry's years of experience with local public accounting firms include directing client relationships with regards to accounting, tax strategies and tax compliance requirements for a wide range of closely-held organizations.

She is a graduate of Rutgers University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She leads and actively participates in the planning and preparation of quarterly and annual tax compliance needs for both closely held businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Kerry is also often utilized by clients as a "temporary controller" or "finance director or advisor" when they are in need of personnel. Her experience of running and operating the financial function of a business or non-profit gives our clients added comfort in knowing we can help them under times of stress.
Francis H. Michaud, Jr., CPA founded the firm of Francis H. Michaud, Jr. CPA in the mid-eighties. He merged with John Accavallo, CPA several years later. He is a partner with Michaud Accavallo Woodbridge & Cusano, LLC He graduated from Fairfield University with a B.B.A. in Accounting. Mr. Michaud has over thirty five years of experience auditing governmental, not-for-profit, and closely held businesses in his public accounting career. In addition, Mr. Michaud works with many individuals and small business providing tax, consulting and accounting service. He was formerly associated with Ernst & Young, a national accounting firm, and with Einbinder & Young, a local accounting firm.

Mr. Michaud has actively participated in the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountant's Governmental Accounting and Auditing Committee for over 13 years and the Not-For-Profit Organization Committee for four years. He regularly attends governmental and not-for-profit accounting and auditing conferences and seminars to maintain the required level of expertise in this area. In addition to being a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants he is also a member of the Connecticut Governmental Finance Officers Association.
Timothy F. Emerson is a Senior Accountant with Michaud Accavallo Woodbridge & Cusano, LLC. Timothy has been a manager in numerous financial roles for more than two decades. Having expertise in both private and public accounting, Timothy has proficiency in businesses ranging from Fortune 500 to sole proprietors and his knowledge includes capabilities as controller, financial analyst and in operations. Additionally, his auditing experience includes non-profit entities as well municipalities and quasi-governmental agencies.Timothy obtained his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania
Beth Cole
Responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting guests, answering phones, handling company inquiries, and sorting and distributing mail. Also responsible for working with and maintaining partners schedules.
Roxann Lehberger graduated from Southern Connecticut State University, with graduate work at Quinnipiac University. She has more than 20 year's experience in public accounting and serves as one of our tax specialist.
Diane provides a broad range of support services, including bookkeeping for our clients. She has been with the firm for more than 15 years.
Robert E. Dains CPA
Robert E. Dains CPA, CFP founded his accounting practice in 1982 and merged with Michaud, Accavallo, Woodbridge & Cusano, LLC in 2017. As many clients sought his advice regarding their financial affairs, he recognized the need for unbiased and objective financial advice. He became a Certified Financial Planner in 1992. Lynn Dains
Lynn Dains is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University with a BS in Elementary Education. She has been an office administrator for over 30 years.

Laura attended Eastern Connecticut State University and has been with the Stratford office since 2000. She maintains business clients bookkeeping, prepares payroll, sales tax return, income/ expense reports and personal property declarations.

Sandra Woodbridge founded the firm of Sandra Woodbridge, CPA in November 1990. Since that time the firm grew to include another partner, two full time staff members and four part time staff members and became Woodbridge & Cusano, Inc. and merged with Michaud and Accavallo, CPA's LLC in November 2012. Sandra is a partner of Michaud Accavallo Woodbridge & Cusano, LLC. Sandra has over 30 years diversified business experience in the public and private sector. Her area of practice includes accounting, taxation, small business consulting and financial planning. She is responsible for our trust and estate division. Our clients rely on her for her intuitive ability to come up with and implement a sound financial plan for them. Having served as a controller and Vice President of a small manufacturing firm, she brings a hands-on knowledge of the business world to help our clients manage and run their businesses profitably. She also has experience in the non-profit sector, including A-133 audits.

Sandra graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Haven with a B.S. degree in Accounting. She has served as an elected member of the board of finance for the Town of Clinton. She has also served on several non-profit boards. Sandra is a member of both the AICPA and CSCPA. Sandra has passed the series 7 Investor's exam and life health and disability exams.
Dominic Cusano is a partner of Michaud Accavallo Woodbridge & Cusano, LLC and has over 15 years of diversified business experience in private industry ranging from small firms to a Fortune 500 Company prior to entering the public sector. His areas of expertise span financial accounting and auditing, cost accounting, government contract accounting and inventory management in a manufacturing environment. Dominic has earned the following Certifications: Certified Management Accountant, Certified in Production and Inventory Management, and Certified Public Accountant.

In November of 1999, Dominic Cusano joined Sandra Woodbridge, CPA as a partner in the firm. Having served in positions from Plant Accountant, Senior Financial Analyst and Controller to Vice President, he has acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to provide real world solutions to our business clients. He is responsible for our Auditing Department and has experience in small businesses, Yellow Book (HUD), and Single Audits as well as compilations and reviews. Other areas of practice include consulting and taxation both individual and business.

Dominic graduated from the University of New Haven with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration and went on to earn an M.S. in Accounting. He is a member of the AICPA, CSCPA, and IMA.
